Partridge-Zschau Insurance Agency is a family owned and operated insurance agency that has been serving the needs of Massachusetts insurance customers for over 133 years. As an independent agency, we represent dozens of fine insurance companies, which offer a wide variety of coverage options and price points.
Our Agency prides itself on the services we provide to our clients. We make it a point to get to know and understand our clients so that we can best respond to their insurance needs and ensure we are helping them to protect their assets. We strive to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and our staff is continually updating and learning, so that we are on top of the ever-changing insurance industry and can provide thoughtful and practical guidance to our clients.
The Partridge-Zschau Insurance Agency dates back to 1891 when E.M. Partridge of Millers Falls, Massachusetts started the Partridge Insurance Agency. Partridge operated his agency as a complement to his druggist (pharmacy) and other businesses located in downtown Millers Falls. In 1938, Ronald Zschau started his own insurance agency in Millers Falls. Ronald's mother, Sarah Mayhew Zschau, operated Ronald's agency from 1941-1945, while Ronald served in World War II. After returning from the war, Ronald Zschau resumed control of his agency and purchased the Partridge Insurance Agency in 1948, forming the business entity that exists today: the Partridge-Zschau Insurance Agency. Ronald ran Partridge-Zschau until his death in 1971, at which time his son Peter took over the business. Today, Peter and his sons Jonathan and Ryan carry on as a family team in the insurance business.
